Ballantine's Wakeboard World Series

The Ballantine's Wakeboard World Series was the first stop of the WWA Wakeboard World Series, held in the first week of April in Rio de Janeiro. Attracting the sports top riders, such as the World Champion Darin Shapiro, the event kicked off the 2004 Wakeboard World Series in style. With several happenings going on around the contest, the Ballantine's Wakeboard World Series included: A cruise on a 50-foot sail boat around Baía de Guanabara and the picturesque islands off the coast of Rio, a launch party at 00 Club & Restaurant, a welcoming cocktail at Sheraton Hotel, and a closing party at Clube Caiçaras.
