Besides featuring 13 of the best Brazilian riders, the Brazilian Cup of Freestyle Motocross also included one of the top 10 riders in the world, U.S. star Derek Burlew - who was positively impressed with the level of the Brazilian freestyle.
The competition is not a race to see who will get across the finish line first, but who will show off the best stunts, with jumps that make riders fly some 10 meters in the air and 20 to 25 meters across. In order to execute such breathtaking tricks, riders must master the techniques and be in perfect synch with their bikes.
The event was televised live on Rede Globo network and seen around the country.
